The round was led by Menlo Ventures and included existing investors such as Notable Capital, NEA and Neo Ventures, alongside new backers including Acrew, Forerunner, Goodwater and Peak XV.

The raise comes just nine months after the company secured $25 million at a $700 million valuation.

Wispr Flow develops AI-powered speech-to-text software designed to allow users to interact with computers through voice.

According to Reuters, Wispr says Canto can reduce error rates in difficult environments from more than 30% to between 5% and 10%.
